Does anyone know why when I play Orange Roulette it shows me this instead of the normal thing where you're still in NG?

Yes, actually! I just played through the game very recently.
Orange Roulette medals can be unlocked + the game can be played normally by adding "/format/flash" at the end of the URL, which makes the game launchable via NG Player.
